Online job sites swamp employers with resumes-study

Reuters reports on a study done by a Vermont-based staffing agency. It basically concludes that "the relative ease of applying online is now job seekers' greatest obstacle, since their resumes may be lost in the crowd."

This is more reason not to rely solely on Internet job posting sites to conduct your job search. Dick Bolles, the author of What Color Is Your Parachute?, has some excellent stuff with respect to Job-Listing web sites, including "The Fairy Godmother Report on Job-Listing Sites".
